Eron Bukirwa Kigozi left her well paying job to become her own boss. She started a nursery school in 2017 with 2 rooms which were definitely not enough. She needed more money to construct more classrooms and that is when she was referred to EFC by her mother who was already our client.

Kigozi obtained a loan of UGX 2m and then advanced to UGX 5m and now UGX 15m which she is using to construct a flat. The school has a nursery section and an addition of P1 and P2. Her goal is to have a fully-fledged primary and nursery section in the next 5years.

From an income of UGX 5m per term 2 years ago, the school now pays her UGX 15m every term. With that she has been able to renovate her home and pay her children’s school fees with no difficulty.

“One special thing I like about EFC; you need a loan, you get it right away.” she said. Aside from educating children, Kigozi also provides free training for the teachers of the neighboring UPE schools.
